Popular Forklift Attachment Devices

  • Fork Positioners and Side Shifters
  • Carton Clamp Attachments
  • Bale & Paper Roll Clamps
  • Drum Clamps
  • Recycling Clamps
  • Layer Pickers and Integral Carriages
  • Multiple Load Handlers and Rotators
  • Push/Pull Slip Sheeters

Fork positioners & side shifter attachments - move fork tines (left and right) to adjust to load changes with hydraulic efficiency and accuracy. Speed the inventory handling process and minimize labor and equipment expenses.

Clamp attachments - securely handle non-palletized inventory of different shapes and sizes. Ideal for paper rolls, cartons (appliance boxes), bales, and more. Strong yet gentle enough to not damage inventory.

Layer pickers - pallet building one or more layers at a time is made possible with this clever device. Layer picking is a highly-efficient way to increase pick rates and reduce labor costs.

Multiple load handlers - transport one or more pallets at a time. Multiple forks shift hydraulically to allow secure pickup and transport of one or two pallets side by side.

Rotators - allow for loads to be rotated 360° frequently used in food processing, manufacturing and dumping.

Push/Pull slip sheeters - for non-palletized inventory on slip sheets. The attachment includes a gripper bar that latches onto the slip sheet to enable the operator to pull the load onto the platens for lifting.

Forklift Attachments - a Weighty Decision

Attachments can dramatically alter the capacity of a lift truck. OSHA cautions that the center of gravity does not always reside in the center of the load. Shifts and load unbalance can effectively reduce safe forklift capacity. Factoring in weight unbalances into capacity calculations can prevent tipping, crashes, load falls, and loss of vehicle control. Load position can also assist in safe operation. Reducing the distance from the front wheels to the center of the load is beneficial. Also, loading the heaviest part of the cargo toward the mast provides more secure positioning.
