For better and improved maneuverability, especially as required in warehouse application, a three-wheel truck is demanded.

BYD latest three-wheel counterbalance forklift has integrated the most demanded three-wheel technology with a twin wheel to deliver both improved maneuverability and driving stability.

Apart from the ergonomic designs and the adoption of the latest AC technology, BYD has applied the same 80V Lithium-iron technology into the three-wheel forklift.

This innovative design has helped improve the forklift driving and lifting performance, whereas the energy consumption has been further reduced.

Basic model description

Model: ECB16 Basic Loading capacity: 3,500 lbs., ECB 18: 4,000 lbs.

Battery: BYD Lithium Iron Phosphate 80V technology with 1-Hour Charging

Comfort model description

Model: ECB16, 18 Comfort

Same features as the ECB16 Basic, plus:

Multifunction armrest with finger-tip control

Grammer MSG 65 full suspension seat

Dual full free lift cylinders mast (clear front view)A lot of options are available. 

Automatic Speed Reduction when Cornering

The speed of the truck will be automatically reduced when cornering to enhance lateral stability and reduce the risk of tipping over. 

Braking Assist System

Braking Assist System allows the truck to stand still instead of rolling forward or backwards after releasing the brake on a slope.

Overload Protection

When load exceeds 10% of the rated load capacity, the lifting motor will stop working for safety concern.  

Multifunction TFT Screen

Displays travel speed, battery remaining capacity, clock, working hours and accumulated working hours.          

Battery charger combinations

The BYD Lithium Iron Phosphate battery can be fully recharged in just 1.1 hours, and be used immediately after without the cooling time required in common batteries.

Several chargers are available to customize the charging time to the customer needs.

The BYD battery and the BYD chargers are based on 80V lithium iron phosphate technology. The higher charging and discharging efficiency of the BYD battery provides the same kWh as a larger nominal capacity Lead acid battery.
